Rehltak - Your Trip

Finding a good flight starts with a clear search. Enter your departure city, destination and travel dates, then compare the options side by side instead of booking the first fare you see.

• Be flexible with dates. Fares often change from one day to the next, so check nearby dates if your plans allow it.
• Compare stops and total travel time. A connecting flight can cost less, but a direct flight may save you hours. Check how long each layover is.
• Read the fare rules. Baggage allowance and change and refund conditions differ between fares, even on the same airline.
• Look at departure and arrival times. A very early or very late flight can add the cost of a taxi or an extra hotel night.

Once you have found a flight that fits, book your ticket with each passenger's name exactly as it appears in their passport or ID.

A little preparation makes airport day much calmer. Go through these points once your flight ticket is booked.

• Check your travel documents. Make sure your passport or ID is valid for the whole trip and that you have any visa or entry permit your destination requires.
• Know your baggage allowance. Carry-on and checked baggage limits depend on the airline and the fare. Weigh your bags at home to avoid surprises at the counter.
• Check in on time. Many airlines offer online check-in before departure. If you check in at the airport, arrive early enough for check-in, security and passport control; international flights need more time than domestic ones.
• Keep your booking details handy. Save your ticket and booking reference on your phone and keep a copy you can open offline.

On the day you travel, check your flight status again, as departure times and gates can change.
